DKB set for nationwide ‘Anti-Gender Violence’ Tour

Disqualified Ghanaian rep to the Big Brother StarGame reality show, DKB, is ready to use the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his act if violence against his fellow hosemate, Zainab to educate and create awareness among the youth. He has decided to embark on a nationwide “anti-gender violence” campus tour, from Senior High Schools to universities and polytechnics, from July 6. The nationwide campaign dubbed “STOP GENDER VIOLENCE- respect yourself” is an “anti-gender violence campaign” geared towards discouraging acts of provocation and violence between men and women, regardless of who initiates it. According to his management team, Ecstasy Entertainment and Boom Entertainment, DKB has taken part in an anger management programme in order to come out reformed, improved and empowered to educate the young ones on the consequences of uncontrolled anger. He is approaching the high school students preceding the higher institutions because they are at a formative age and need to be made aware of the repercussions of uncontrolled anger culminating into violence and how to deal with it so as to become better adults. Details of the tour, which is set to EDUTAIN (educate and entertain) include a talk session by himself, a Clinical Psychologist and a Domestic Violence representative; question and answer time , a photo and autograph session as well as performances of his apology song. The tour would start from his alma mater, St. John’s Grammar School, then moving to other schools such as Labone High School, St. Mary’s High School, Presec, Accra Academy, Accra High School and then to high schools in other parts of the country
