It appears some mischief makers are on again this time around they turn their ungodly searchlight on the Nigerian Television Authority Network News with a clear message to denigrate and bring it to public disrepute by using fake graphics as chest caption on President Muhammadu Buhari and governor Zulum of Borno state. Unknown to them such clips never existed on NTA Network News, it was just mere mischief concocted to give NTA bad name in order to hang it.
I don't intend to join issues with these mischief makers but compelled to respond to certain questions by our teaming viewers whom I hold in high esteem. I also want to put a stop the misrepresentation of facts. NTA as we all know is a professional Broadcast organisation with highly skilled and reputable Broadcasters second to none not only in Nigeria but Africa.
Today NTA is the most reliable and authentic Broadcast medium. In fact the leadership of NTA remain a live to their professional responsibilities of making sure the organisation maintain it's leading role in the Broadcast industry. So such error peddled on social media is not aired on NTA Network channels and our professional calling will not permit us to contemplate such professional misconduct.
Therefore I owe explanation to those who kept on asking about that clips to discountenance them as they did not represent NTA. I'm sure those conversant with operations of NTA will tell you that stringent measures put in place before any news item hit the screen.
I advise our teaming viewers to keep faith with us, with assurance that NTA will continue to play a leading role in unifying Nigerians and at the same time maintain it's professional stand.
