Time for accountability Nigeria

So Acting Chairman of NDDC fainted today during quizzing ( wether real or fake ).

The inquiry into his activities suddenly stopped and It is likely that he may not be brought forward again for further questioning.



Nigerians have suddenly started to make comic skits and jabs from the incident . It will become a social media comic sensation and die in the archives of laughter like the various animals that swallowed monies.
In a sane clime , this is when citizens will make demands.

News media will follow up on his health, find out if he has gotten better and inform on the possibility of him completing his testimony. Presure will be mounted on the committee to ensure they do their jobs thoroughly .

I dont see that at the moment . All we are doing is laughing .

And in the cause of the national laughter , our politicians and public office holders grow in impunity because they know that comedians and their audience will have no time to call for accountability .

My challenge to all our media houses , FOLLOW UP ON THIS ONE .AT LEAST LET US START A CULTURE OF ACCOUNTABILITY
