DO MEN REALLY LEAVE?
“For this reason shall A MAN LEAVE his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh”but the question is do men really leave? It’s a post I’ve had in my diary for a while now , I just felt today is the right day to publish it. Do men really leave? It’s a question I know many women especially newly weds gets puzzled over. Yours truly is not an exception. I think that back then, the reality of me getting married didn’t really dawn on me until it was time to take certain decisions.

Diary of a newlywed
About Reading:
The saying is true that readers are leaders. A lot of people go into marriage without adequate knowledge. Imagine we spending an average of 16years in school just to become what we are today. 6years in primary school, 6years in secondary school and a minimum of 4years in the University to become that accountant, that doctor and that teacher and to retire after 35years. It means to work for 35years in government, you need at least a schooling of almost half of those 35years!
Woow! Yet no form of schooling to enter an institution that we want to last forever.
Everyone assumes . Every one is assuming but only a few will not leave it's success to assumption. As we all know, assumption they say is the lowest form of knowledge. We assume we know how to handle relationship, we assume they know how a family is run, we assume we know how to raise a girl child, a boy child, how to handle in-laws, how to handle a teenager. We assume everything. At least we saw our parents. We forget the fact that our parents kept the real issues away from us while growing up so we can have a healthy childhood.
They display to us the honey, and suck the lemon closely behind doors. A lot of people get inside and realise their experiences are far on the opposing sides of their assumptions. I mean why will you be in a relationship or even married and have never attended a single seminar on relationship/marriage. I know some will say all the authors and speakers talk and write their own experiences... so what? At least it's still something to learn from or don't we learn from the experiences of people ahead of us?
If you haven't done any of the aforementioned, then you have a lot of work to do. Relationship in itself is hard work, you have to just tell yourself this thing must work. It's a lot of investment. We invest time, money, intellect and above all huge emotional investment. Dating my husband for 4years involved a lot of dellingence and consistency in ALWAYS doing the required, the expected and the intuited. While we will all agree that our schools did not put food on our table, it only prepared us for the task ahead.
Moreso, majority of us are not even earning an income by what we studied in school but schooling was largely contributory to our current level. It is the same with schooling for the sake of love. Going for marriage/ relationship seminars and reading may not completely solve your relationship or marital issues, but at least it will inform you, open your eyes and mind..it will help us make informed decisions.
Information is the first step in becoming a better person. Let's all get informed.

About this finding, one expert polled says, "The husband-wife relationship is a life commitment as is the parent-child relationship. However, the parent's responsibility is to raise a child and teach him values and morals and accountability so that the child may then take care of himself when he becomes an adult. Therefore, the husband-wife relationship has priority over the parent-child as long as the children are safe."

Whether we are married or single, wishing to be free of a partnership that has run its course, or actively calling a partnership in; whether we are delightfully dating, waiting for love, or exhausted by the search; whether we are happily or unhappily sexually active, desperately wishing for sex, simply and honestly disinterested in sex, or deliberately celibate; whether our parents are still alive or have passed, and whether we have children or are childless; whether we have a vast social network of friendships, peers, teachers, students, clients, healers, patients, bosses, co-workers or employees, or whether we find ourselves mostly alone, with very few people in our lives~ regardless, the opportunity in relationship, for all of us, is the same: to discover the deepest calling that all relationship is reflecting, revealing, invoking and inviting, and to be true to this call.

You and your baby scan picture
A picture of your baby’s scan on your phone or on your fridge door is a constant reminder that your bump is home to a little person.
Your first scan will probably be a dating scan at around 10 weeks to 13 weeks plus six days of pregnancy. Not all hospitals will offer you a picture of the scan to take away, but do ask if you can have one, as it can help you to visualise the little person developing inside you.
You may well be wondering whether you’re having a girl or a boy, however you’re unlikely to find out at this stage. You may be told at your anomaly scan at around 18 weeks to 20 weeks plus six days of pregnancy.
You could also arrange a private 3D or 4D scan later in pregnancy. These scans can give you a clear view of your baby’s features. You may even be able to tell whose nose she’s inherited!
The best time to have a 3D or 4D scan is between 26 weeks and 30 weeks of pregnancy. Private scans can be expensive but seeing what your baby looks like may make prospective parenthood seem more real for you and your partner.
The Three Appearances Of Love
Love has always been portrayed wrongly by the media. The. media make love like a fairy tale with an "happy ever ending". It has been commonized that love can happen in any place with the right person and the question is that, "Is there any such thing as a perfect person"?
Love is a commitment that should be ignited by choice for intimate relationship when you are ready (Songs of Solomom 8:4). The best example of Love is God. He is love. He gave us Love. He swims in love. He has loved us even before we knew him. He has known us before we were conceived (Jeremiah 1: 5a). We can only seek the practical manual of love from Him and not the human manual.
Everyone can claim to love but not everyone can walk in love. People mistake lust for love. They mistake sexual passion for love but they are different. Love has no conditions attached to it. If you are seeking to be loved by a man or woman before you can feel loved, then you lack love yourself. You cannot give what you don't have.
If God is love, He must have given us the rules on how to love then. So where do we get true love from? Where do we find true love from? I broke them down into the three(3) appearances of love.
Love appears in God first. It then transits to Men which helps us shower it to our neighbours. Our neighbor could be our loved ones, partner and people around us.
Let's look at God's manual of love in 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. The. Bible explains that Love is kind, patient, enduring, long suffering etc. Love is patient even with the pressure we face around us in our relationships. Love doesn't boast or inflict any physical , sexual or emotional abuse. You. can't love someone and be boasting of what you have or have acquired.
Joyce Meyer says that "Love is the highest form of maturity. It often requires a sacrifice. If there is nothing to give or loose, we probably don't love the other person at all.

Ifeanyi Ubah To End Fuel Scarcity With 13M Litres of Fuel – TAN CEO
TAN and Capital Oil and Gas CEO, Ifeanyi Ubah said he will release 13 million litres of fuel to depots around the country in order to end fuel scarcity.
Ubah is a close pally to Goodluck Jonathan. He released a statement on the issue today, May 24, 2015.
“On Saturday 16th May 2015, we received an SMS ordering the suspension of loading activities in all depots from Monday 18th May 2015. We later realized that this directive was as a result of unpaid funds owed to transporters by oil marketers who in turn are owed by the Federal Government.”
“This development has resulted in immense hardship to our fellow country men and women. We believe that a better solution can be pursued towards solving this problem in a way that does not adversely affect our dear citizens.”
“Capital Oil and Gas has watched with so much pain, the suffering and hardship our citizens have been subjected to as a result of scarcity of petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and house hold kerosene.”
“We are deeply pained to hear that hospitals cannot perform surgeries, laboratories are unable to carry out much needed tests especially for emergency patients leaving such patients at risk of dying, radio stations are shutting down, communication is being affected as MTN and other telecommunications company have announced an impending shut down while homes, offices and key facilities nationwide are experiencing blackouts.”
“We are constrained at this point and have decided that two wrongs cannot make a right. We will not be part of this sabotage against our fatherland. Therefore from this minute, we shall take the risk of opening our facilities and commence swift loading and distribution of products Nationwide.”
“Our facility has the capacity to load over 13 million litres of product before dawn. This comes to approximately 400 trucks of petroleum products. With this act, it is our belief that once again our citizens will begin to smile, return to normal family and work life.”
“We call on other petroleum marketers to follow suit and save our Nation from this impending economic and social crisis. This is a period that requires patriotism and service to fatherland. Let’s join hands to help our fellow citizens and save Nigeria. We also call on striking bodies to call off the strike action. Let us work together for the betterment of our people.”
“As we brief you this moment, our truck park, port reception facilities and our depot complex have been ordered opened. We are ordering and resuming discharge of products from vessels at our berths. We have ordered our trucks to commence loading of products and move overnight to every state of the Federation.

Radio Stations, Arik Airline, MTN Shutting Down Due To Fuel/Diesel Scarcity.
Beat 99.9fm and Naija 102.7fm yesterday announced that they were shutting down due to fuel/diesel scarcity which has gradually been crumbling the nation, so that they can resume work this morning. MTN also sent out a message that the scarcity looming the country has also been affecting its network. Though many airlines have been cancelling local and international flights, Arik Airline took it upon themselves to inform their customers that all their flights have been cancelled for now as seen in the photo above.
